We play an advisory role in homologation matters, providing information about the authorities and related documents. As an advisor we guide you through this process, providing resources and answering questions, but we do not have the authority to approve your homologation, nor is it within our remit to handle the homologation process ourselves, as an agency would.

arias-rhema.de deals with the translation of documents, including certificates, apostilles, diplomas, minutes, among others.

The Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB) is the central office for the evaluation/recognition of foreign qualifications in Germany. The anabin is an information portal for foreign degrees. Among the resources is an equivalence database where you can search for your degree, university and country.

For the approval/recognition of foreign qualifications process, we recommend that you contact the medical association of the federal state you are interested in directly. In Hanover and Lower Saxony this is the NiZzA.

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Depending on what you want to study, the university and the language of study, you will need the language. Generally speaking, if you are going to study in German, you need at least a B2 level of German. If you are going to study in English, you need at least a B2 level in English, as well as an A2 or B1 in German. It all depends on the university and the specific programme.

On the employment side, for jobs with professional qualifications, you usually need a B2 in German (if it is the language of communication between employees or with clients). If you are a health professional, you will need a C1 in German.

If you need a German teacher who speaks Spanish / English and teaches online, we recommend Juan David Bravo - German teacher with a degree in German Philology from the Universidad Nacional (Bogotá, Colombia).
